Prep Cook: Part Time

This position involves making a healthy & delicious daily staff meal for 30-35 people, preparing food for service, following recipes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, putting away deliveries, cleaning and maintaining food safety and quality standards.

At least 2-3 year’s experience is required. Prep shifts begin at 8am, and run 5-6 hours but sometimes up to 8. Our current opening is for 4 shifts/week.

Wage: $21/hour+ in addition to a tip share (currently approx $2/hour)

• Applicants should have a basic knowledge of food sanitation safety, and professional food preparation, with a solid foundation in a from-scratch restaurant kitchen.

• English/Spanish bilingual ideal but English is required for this position.

• Applicants must take instruction as well as work independently.

• This is a physical job and applicants should be comfortable standing as well as lifting 30 pounds to their shoulders.

• Punctuality, reliability, and weekend availability are required.
